Project Summary:

Faculty: Dr. Gerald Aben ↔ Type of Project: Interactive model

A set of interactive flash-based games were designed to enhance the curricular materials in  a new blended Radiology course that will be used by first year students in the allopathic and osteopathic MSU medical schools in four different locations in Michigan.

The games help students practice radiological imaging of normal and abnormal human anatomy, principles of imaging pathology and its various modalities available, and specifics of imaging for different pathologies.

These curricular materials are integrated with self-paced online modules that students can access for review and practice at their convenience.

Technology and Software:

  • Adobe Flash
  • Raptivity
